Marcel Dabdoub, Principal

Marcel Dabdoub, the CEO of BIOPHIL Natural Fibers, has extensive experience in law, finance, and international business. He holds a finance degree from Boston University and a JD/MBA from the University of Arizona. He practiced law in Tucson and Mexico City before transitioning to real estate and entrepreneurship in 2005. Marcel serves on several finance and development boards and is a Southern Arizona Leadership Council member.

David Camby, Principal

David Camby, a veteran with over 20 years in business management is BIOPHIL’s Director of Operations. He is a pioneer in the U.S. hemp industry. With over a decade of leadership in sustainable agriculture and fiber innovation, he has advanced hemp development in North Carolina. His expertise includes seed genetics, processing equipment, and farmer education. David also led the design and installation of BIOPHIL’s fully integrated decortication, blending, and spinning facility—one of the first of its kind in the U.S.

Gibram Carrillo, Production Manager

Gibram, born in Tucson and raised in Nogales, earned a degree in Foreign Trade, Customs, and Business Administration from the University of Durango Santander. He specialized in production and manufacturing within Arizona’s produce industry where he developed an extensive skill set for innovation and efficiency in operations. As BIOPHIL’s Production Manager. Gibram is dedicated to applying his extensive knowledge to contributing to a sustainable future for the industrial hemp manufacturing process.
