Refinement
Our proprietary separation and refinement technology is the only one in the United States that is able to process green or partially green stalk. This means that our stalk does not have to be completely dried and retted prior to decortication (the initial separation between hurd and fiber). This allows us to preserve the strength, flexibility and overall integrity of our hemp fiber, making it stronger and more resilient compared to the brittle fiber that comes from hemp stalk that has to be dried and retted before processing.
Our post-decortication cleaning system removes all the dust and other impurities from our hurd and fiber without the use of chemicals. Our fiber degumming process is designed to remove lignin and hemicellulose polymersy without damaging our fiber, resulting in a strong and adaptable fiber that will outlast and outperform any other textile fiber on the market.
We process only the highest quality hemp stalk because, as with any process, the quality of the output is only as good as the quality of the input. We source our own raw material by working with local farmers to grow hemp stalk using our seeds, which allows us to control the quality of our crops. But if you are looking for someone to process your hemp stalk, please reach out to us and one of our representatives will work with you to see how we can convert your hemp stalk into marketable hurd, fiber and hurd powder.
